Welcome to our weekly NFL Pick’em. The hosts of the My Fantasy Podcast (Dan, Brandon and Orlando) pick every game straight up and crown one champion of all champions at the end of the season.

Standings after Week 6

Dan Schalk: 47-44

Brandon Reid: 50-41

Orlando Torres: 47-44

As you know, we have one “celebrity picker” each week and they will battle it out for supremacy and bragging rights. Our Week 6 celebrity picker, Malachi David tied DDT in wins, but also did so during a bye week, so he had two less opportunities.

Celebrity Picker Standings

Malachi David- (Week 6) 8-6

Dillon Davis-Tirado (Week 4): 8-8

Patrick Rahall (Week 5): 6-8

Casey Birch (Week 3): 6-10

Our “celebrity picker” for Week 7 is the host of ‘The Peoples Podcast’, Mathew Aguiar….

Week 7 NFL Picks

Buccaneers at Bills

Dan Schalk: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Were you expecting something else from me?

Brandon Reid: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Last week I questioned whether or not the Bucs were a playoff caliber team. They lost like I thought they would. I give them a pass on AP last week because of the way the Cardinals were throwing the ball. This week they can really focus in on stopping the run and I think they squeak past Buffalo.

Orlando Torres: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even with a banged up Winston I’m taking the Bucs in a close game. If it were to be Fitzpatrick I’ll still take the Bucs in a revenge game. Bills defense has been good, and won them a few games, but those situations won’t happen all the time.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Buffalo Bills. Winston’s shoulder is banged up and I think Buffalo’s defense plays well in this one at home. They’ve sneakily been an alright team this season Taylor under center. Bills win, and the spread will be a push.
Bucs 17, Bills 20

Panthers at Bears

Dan Schalk: Carolina Panthers. The Panthers defense will dominate the Bears offense with Trubisky under center. Double-digit victory for Carolina.

Brandon Reid: Carolina Panthers. I really like the way the Bears look energized with the future under center. But the Panthers look poised to get back in the playoff mix and cannot drop this game. I would consider it a pretty big upset for the Bears to win this one.

Orlando Torres: Carolina Panthers. I actually don’t think this will be much of a game. I like Chicago’s run game, but the Panthers should bounce back with ease here, and John Fox is doing what he can to limit the work for Trubisky.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Carolina Panthers. Part of me thinks Chicago pulls this one off, but I’ve gotta go with the Panthers. This will be a close one. Panthers win, and another push on the spread.
Panthers 23, Bears 20

Titans at Browns

Dan Schalk: Tennessee Titans. Not really a question to me who will win this game, but I’ve seen crazier things happen.

Brandon Reid: Tennessee Titans. If the winless Browns beat the Titans…

Orlando Torres: Tennessee Titans. The hot potato game between the qb’s continues in Cleveland. Hue Jackson isn’t doing both guys a favor by benching one each week for the other. Tennessee should steamroll them at ease.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Tennessee Titans. The Browns are a mess right now, they can’t figure out who they want in as QB. Tennessee had a solid ending in their MNF matchup against the lowly Colts. Look for the Titans to roll in this one by at least a TD. Titans win and cover the spread.
Titans 24, Browns 13

Saints at Packers

Dan Schalk: Green Bay Packers. Brett Hundley didn’t come in and wow anyone last week, but with a week of prep, I think he can succeed against this overachieving Saints defense.

Brandon Reid: New Orleans Saints. The Saints are loaded with offensive weapons. No Aaron Rodgers, no playoffs.

Orlando Torres: New Orleans Saints. Oh my what kind of fireworks would this game provide if Rodgers were playing? Well Hundley is the man now with a great supporting cast, but ever since Sending AP to AZ Ingram and Kamara have proven that he was holding them back. No to mention their resurgence on the defense.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): New Orleans Saints. Two weeks ago I would’ve said the Packers at home would easily take this one, but now I’ve gotta roll with the red-hot Saints. Coming off a 52-point explosion against the Lions, look for the Saints to keep rolling here. Saints win and cover the spread.
Saints 27, Packers 20

Jaguars at Colts

Dan Schalk: Jacksonville Jaguars. I’m not sold on either team, but Blake Bortles will do just enough to outperform Jacoby Brissett.

Brandon Reid: Jacksonville Jaguars. I think it says a lot that the Jags are favored by 3 on the road. Glad I have the Jags D in fantasy this week.

Orlando Torres: Indianapolis Colts. As we all knew, Andrew Luck might miss the entire 2017 campaign. With that said Brissett has been promising enough to get them wins and compete. I want to take the Jags here, but with a chance Fournette sits out with an ankle injury, I can’t trust Bortles enough to pick them.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Jacksonville Jaguars. Even if Fournette doesn’t play, the Jags defense will have a great game and put the Jags over .500. The Colts are hurting, even with Brissett playing ok. Jags win and cover the spread.
Jaguars 24, Colts 16

Cardinals at Rams

Dan Schalk: LA Rams. One good game doesn’t mean AP is all of a sudden going to top 100 yards rushing every week. He’s still washed up to me and this Rams front will show it this week.

Brandon Reid: Arizona Cardinals. If you’re telling me the Cardinals will have a running game that halfway resembles the production of last week, then that changes their whole season. Rams are favored by 3.

Orlando Torres: Arizona Cardinals. Don’t be shocked if the Rams find themselves in a playoff spot. I like the changes they made on coaching, and the team is coming along, however I’m going with coach Arians and his trio of old men to come in and spoil the fun in LA.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Arizona Cardinals. Rams are 0-2 in their history in London. I like where they’re going as a team, but I think the newly inspired AP-run Cardinals will come away with the win here. It’ll be a close one though. Cardinals win and beat the spread.
Cardinals 24, Rams 21

Jets at Dolphins

Dan Schalk: Miami Dolphins. Just a few weeks ago the Jets beat the Dolphins in their house. I expect Miami to return the favor this week.

Brandon Reid: Miami Dolphins. These are two teams that I really have no clue who they are. The Jets have already won three more games than people thought and the Dolphins couldn’t find the endzone until they played the Falcons. I’m going with the home team.

Orlando Torres: Miami Dolphins. A few weeks ago we all expected the Fins to completely mop the floor with the Jets, and instead the Jets beat them in not a close game. This week is different. Changes have been made, and as long as they get Ajayi going their chances of winning are high.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Miami Dolphins. Don’t like either of these two teams and I really think this one is a coin flip. I’ll go with the home team for the win, but the spread will be a push.
Jets 17, Dolphins 20

Ravens at Vikings

Dan Schalk: Minnesota Vikings. Joe Flacco is a bad quarterback right now…so naturally I’m sure they’ll have their best offensive week the way things have gone this season in the NFL.

Brandon Reid: Minnesota Vikings. I do not trust the Ravens on the road. I’m not completely sold on Minnesota either. I see their season going much like last year. I can’t go out on a limb and pick Baltimore in this one.

Orlando Torres: Minnesota Vikings. The Ravens are an absolute mess, their run game is coming along, but you can trust Flacco and the pass catchers here. Skol!

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Minnesota Vikings. Baltimore is crap this year, I’m not sold on them at all. Keenum has been decent in relief of Bradford. No Diggs again which makes this a little more interesting but Thielen, Rudolph and McKinnon should help pick up the slack. Vikings win and cover the spread at home.
Ravens 13, Vikings 20

Cowboys at 49ers

Dan Schalk: Dallas Cowboys. Sean Lee is playing, so the Cowboys will win.

Brandon Reid: Dallas Cowboys. Not really sure why the 49ers made the QB change last week but it doesn’t help me feel better about their chances the rest of this year. Dallas needs a big win, bad.

Orlando Torres: Dallas Cowboys.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Dallas Cowboys. Saw a crazy stat that San Fran has lost 5 of 6 by 3 points or less. Imagine if they won those games and were sitting at 5-1?! Anyway, Zeke is playing (meh) so I gotta roll with a bounce back win for Dallas on the road. Niners will hang in there for the 6th straight game and cover the spread, but ultimately fall to 0-7.
Cowboys 24, 49ers 20

Seahawks at Giants

Dan Schalk: New York Giants. Eli showed some grit against a great defense last week–I think he’ll do the same this week against an solid Seattle defense who has to travel cross-country.

Brandon Reid: Seattle Seahawks. The Giants are in Cleveland Browns territory meaning there isn’t many scenarios I will pick them to win in the rest of the season.

Orlando Torres: New York Giants. Give me Eli again! At the end of the day he is a Manning.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Seattle Seahawks. The Giants are filled with injuries but still managed a surprising win on the road in Denver last week. Seattle has been very inconsistent but I’m thinking this week their defense will have a big game. Seattle wins and covers the spread.
Seahawks 20, Giants 10

Bengals at Steelers

Dan Schalk: Cincinnati Bengals. I like Cincy coming off their bye to surprise the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Joe Mixon will finally have that break-out game pundits have been calling for.

Brandon Reid: Cincinnati Bengals. This is an old time division battle. These two teams know each other well. Riding high off beating the Chiefs last week, this is a classic trap scenario for the Steelers.

Orlando Torres: Pittsburgh Steelers. This should be a fun hard hitting game. Dalton is no stranger to struggling at Heinz field, but even though this game could go in the favor of the Bengals with how poorly Big Ben has been this season, I’ll give the edge the Pittsburgh because Bell and Brown are the big two carrying this team right now.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Pittsburgh Steelers. This should be a good one. Cincy started slow but is starting to click now. Pittsburgh has been inconsistent as well. I’ll take the home team in this one. But as I always do with divisional games, I’ll take the 5.5 points they’re giving the Bengals.
Bengals 24, Steelers 27

Broncos at Chargers

Dan Schalk: Denver Broncos. Philip Rivers has become interception prone—I expect at least three this weekend.

Brandon Reid: Denver Broncos. I find myself rooting for the Chargers. They just haven’t been able to get over that hump in over a decade. I don’t think it’s going to happen against a familiar foe who needs a win.

Orlando Torres: Los Angeles Chargers. You know what I’ll keep this short and simple by saying I think the Chargers win this close battle and start a run here going forward.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Los Angeles Chargers. Chargers are sitting at 2-4 but have been hanging in their week after week. Gordon has been a monster. Broncos are coming in shaken up after a big home loss to the winless Giants at the time. This one will be close but I’ll take the home team.
Broncos 21, Chargers 24

Falcons at Patriots

Dan Schalk: New England Patriots. 28-3….

Brandon Reid: Atlanta Falcons. Bounce back game for the Falcons who should thrash the worst defensive team in the league.

Orlando Torres: Atlanta Falcons. What a treat we get on Sunday night with the Super Bowl rematch. Both teams have not been hot, and have found themselves struggling more winning three games a piece. The patriots defense is dead last, and even gave up over 300 hundred passing yards to McCown. I want to make a joke so bad about how the Falcons will blow a lead here, but this is the game they’ve been waiting for all year, and what better way to avenge their loss then to go into Foxborough and smash the Pats.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): New England Patriots. So my Patriots haven’t been all that impressive this year. The struggles week after week have been tough to watch. But this, this is the game where they rebound in a big way. Atlanta is coming in for Super Bowl revenge and will fall short. Matty Ice will get his 200+ yards, but throw 2 picks in the process. Patriots have not covered a spread all season, but they’ll do it here. Prime time football, it’s TB12 time!
Falcons 17, Patriots 31

Redskins at Eagles

Dan Schalk: Washington Redskins. The Eagles have the best record currently in the NFL, but a slip-up is going to happen sooner or later.

Brandon Reid: Philadelphia Eagles. The first meeting went to Philly 30-17. I can’t see that much changed in this matchup. Throw in the fact that this is a Monday Night game in Philly, I’m going with the Eagles to keep soaring.

Orlando Torres: Philadelphia Eagles. Offensively this should be a great game, defensively for the Skins not so much. If Josh Norman doesn’t play honestly who’s going to stop Wentz on defense? Give me the Eagles to continue their streak here.

Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles have the best record in football. Who would’ve though? Wentzamania is running wild on the NFL!! This will be a close game but Philly gets the home win and moves to 6-1. Eagles win, but I’ll take the 4.5 points in a divisional matchup.
Redskins 24, Eagles 27
