Dillon Davis-Tirado (Week 4): 8-8
Patrick Rahall (Week 5): 6-8
Casey Birch (Week 3): 6-10
Our “celebrity picker” for Week 7 is the host of ‘The Peoples Podcast’, Mathew Aguiar….
Thursday Night Picks
Chiefs (5-1) at Raiders (2-4)
Dan Schalk: Kansas City Chiefs. I’m still not a believer in the Raiders even with Carr back as QB. Andy Reid will get Hunt more involved in the running game and control the clock in a close division win.
Brandon Reid: Kansas City Chiefs. Every year the Chiefs seem to start out hot, before fizzling out and losing a bad playoff game. I don’t necessarily feel that way this year, but they are one injury away from danger. Losing Dontari Poe to FA, and Eric Berry to season ending injury was bad enough. But so far they have survived. I have zero confidence in Oakland right now. Carr isn’t right, Amari isn’t the top WR, and Marshawn has been decent, but hasn’t provided that imposing force to give Oakland that added dimension. The Chiefs are the road favorite by 3, and that sounds about right to me.
Orlando Torres: Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City is the more elite team on this Thursday night game. Oakland will be more desperate for a win, but after seeing the fire Oakland’s offense is lacking I’m going with the Chiefs to bounce back.
Mathew Aguiar (Celebrity Picker): Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City is coming off of a rare slip up at home and I’m not sold on Carr being 100%. Big loss at home for Oakland last week at the last minute too. Oakland’s offense has been sub-par as of late and I don’t think they’ll be able to bounce back against a Kansas City defense that should dominate this one. Where is Amari Cooper?? Look for another big game from Kareem Hunt! KC wins and covers the spread 27-17.
