Week 9 was tough for me. For Picks of the Week, we went 3-0, 2-1 on the Over/Under, but was only 3-6 (If I Had To Guess) and 5-8  SU. With that said we ‘Bill Belichick’ it and  put it in our rear view mirror quickly and get on to Week 10 and some great match ups across the board.

Carolina (-4) @ Tennessee

Carolina is 8-0 coming into this game and I think they continue to get it done on the road. Tennessee has been terrible at home and their 27th ranked offense will have challenges against the Panthers 11th ranked defense. Panthers haven’t closed out games very well in all of their eight wins but they’re defense is giving up a league-leading 4.8 yards per play and hold opposing quarterbacks rating to 68.9.

Panthers  27    Titans  17

Chicago (+6.5)   @  St. Louis

Although I’d take the Rams in this game at home, I do think the Bears will keep it close. RB Matt Forte and WR are banged up, and the Rams have been putting major pressure on opposing QB’s to the tune of 27 sacks this season, good enough for the second highest mark in the league. I look for Cutler to make some mistakes when it gets hot in the pocket. But with an offense capable of scoring at a good clip, I think the Bears will keep it tight.

Bears  20    Rams  22

New England (-7)   @  New York Giants

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have lost three straight games to the New York Giants, including two Super Bowls. Even though the Patriots may not admit it, they wouldn’t mind winning big in this game. Giants coach Tom Coughlin is 5-1 vs the Patriots skipper.

The Giants are giving up a league worst 429.4 yards per game and with this explosive Patriots offensive, points could come often. I think Tom Brady and coach Belichick keep the revenge tour moving right along with a big win over NYG on the road.

Patriots 35   Giants  24

Parlay Pick of the Week

Last week we went with the following three game parlay and looked pretty good until some late scores in the Denver/ Indy game pushed to the OVER:

Jacksonville/ NY Jets (42) OVER, Carolina/ Tennessee (44) UNDER, New York Giants (+2.5)

This week we like the following:

Dallas/ Tampa Bay (43.5) UNDER, Kansas City/ Denver (41.5) UNDER, Cleveland/ Pittsburgh (41.5) OVER

Here’s the rest of my Week 10 point spread picks. Please make sure you check out Dan’s Week 10 picks to help you with your SU selections.
