Nintendo E3 Press Conference Live Coverage
Nintendo is about to start their E3 press conference today, and E3 is where companies from around the gaming industry show off the newest games, features, trailers and consoles to the gaming world. Nintendo is the final console creator after to have their press conference today at 12 P.M. where they are expected to talk about the upcoming games they plan on releasing in the next year. Check back here for updates on the conference to see the latest news, trailers and more released by Nintendo today.
A trailer for the new Legend of Zelda is getting played. This was the most talked about game for Nintendo last year and now we are seeing more gameplay for it. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be a place of discovery and wonder. It is one of the biggest games by Nintendo. Nobody at E3 will be able to explore the entire game, as the demo is just a fraction of the map.
Pokemon Sun and Moon are getting talked about here. This is the 20th anniversary of Pokemon. A trailer is played for the upcoming games.
The main reason why it is titled sun and moon is because the sun affects our life and the moon does as well, it also has an impact in the Pokemon world so we wanted to show the importance of it.
For the legendary Pokemon, they tie into the story with a unique role and fans will be excited for it. The playing area called the Alola region is made up of four islands. With the three starting Pokemon we wanted to make them cute. They wanted to make them universally relatable.
They are having live gameplay of it. They wanted the moves to be easier to understand and what the move actually does. They want the Pokedeck to be more useful in this game and register all of the Pokemon.
The new Pokedeck will help you to tell you where to go next and before you get the Pokedeck the bottom screen will be black.
Characters will now show action with catching a Pokemon, when you win or lose, and more.
This seems to be a Nintendo TreeHouse where they just show gameplay and have interviews for every game all day instead of an hour or two press conference. This coverage will stop at 1 p.m.
A new game mode called Battle Royal in Pokemon is announced where you have four players and up to three Pokemon and you battle each other. Pokemon Sun and Moon come out November 18, 2016.
There is a commercial break and the coverage will have to stop here. I am sorry everyone for the lack of coverage for this event. I was not expecting this to be an all day event and I don’t have the time to cover it any longer as things are popping up. I am sorry but I hope you enjoyed this coverage of the Nintendo Treehouse.
