This past weekend for my birthday I decided to gift myself with Pottymouth, Partybaby tickets. The concert was booked by PromoWest productions and held at The Basement concert venue in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, February 25.Partybaby

Before talking about the concert itself I would like to give readers a little backstory of the band.

Partybaby was formed in 2010 by Noah Gersh (Portugal. The Man) and Jamie Reed (Thirty Seconds To Mars). Jamie was an engineer and producer for the band. Both Noah and Jamie were working on a Christina Aguilera song. They became frustrated with work and decided to form Partybaby. The band hails from Los Angeles, California. The members are Chelsea Davis, James Hurst, Noah Gersh and Jamie Reed.

Four other bands performed as well.

Partybaby opened with James Hurst kicking off his shoes. One wrapping around Noah’s mic stand. From the moment the band took to the stage people were jumping up and down, clapping their hands and singing along with Jamie. A few to the right of my friend Sarah”beanie” were body slamming moshpit style.

My favorite songs played were Everything’s Alright and California. Jamie introduced a new song titled Problems. He said it was based on┬áthe suffering and strife in the world today. He specifically touched upon the Standing Rock situation. The new song will be available for Download soon. Sorry Beanie! It’s an echelon thing.

I did not get to meet James and Chelsea, but did meet and talk to Noah about a pending interview to be done at a later date. The band is currently on tour and time was too short. I also met Jamie who was nice enough to take two selfies with me. I usually hate my pic and how I look but Jamie actually made me look nice. The band was nice and very friendly. I got to meet Chelsea’s dog which was running around the venue. Before I close I will leave you with the bands social media site and website if you want to check them out. Their album Golden Age of Bullshit was released September 2,2016. It’s available for download on iTunes.
