Peterson stays put, re-signs with Washington
Nobody knew what was looming for Adrian Peterson after a disastrous season for the Washington Redskins as a whole, but headed into the 2019 season, Peterson is staying put.
Unlike Landon Collins and Le’Veon Bell, teams these days are no longer trying to leap-frog each other for an aging running back like Peterson. However, ‘All Day’ has proven to be very efficient even in his thirties.
In not so ground-breaking news per ESPN’s Josina Anderson, AP called her to tell her that he would be re-signing with the Skins on a two-year deal worth $8 million.
RB Adrian Peterson just called me and told me "I am going back to the #Redskins. It will be a 2-year deal. I feel like we made some good moves to get to where we are trying to go."

While the Redskins were getting blasted by injuries before the season even began, starting with rookie running back Derrius Guice, Peterson actually had a solid 2018 season.
He played 16 games with 251 attempts, 7 TD’s for 1,042 yards. Not a bad move on Washington’s part to help out the rookie coming back from injury.
No matter how you feel about the 33 year-old, here’s a look back at one of his monster runs with Washington from last season.
