Hardy Boyz

WWE has always had the advantage of either signing talent or resigning talent. In this case, we have the Hardy Boyz. The tag team’s contracts just expired in TNA, and expired in an ugly way according to rumors. The Hardy Boyz are the current TNA Tag Team champions, but will NOT be granted a one day contract with TNA to drop the titles. Instead, they will be stripped of the tag team titles. Questions have begun circulating in the WWE universe, will WWE reach out and sign the team to a contract?

With the signing of a talent, the next question that could become a concern is – what if this talent turns into the next Alberto Del Rio? I believe that if you are a tag team ready to sign a contract to a wrestling organization that you have to respectfully decline the WWE. It’s atrocious how the WWE books the tag team division and has turned it into an absolute joke. The RAW brand’s tag team champions is a watered down version of “The Club”, which is a team that should absolutely be dominating the division. On the other side, while Smackdown has had amazing success with its brand, they unfortunately have no clue on how to book any tag team match or talent. This has led to American Alpha quickly growing stale. It’s not because of the talent, but because of WWE not having a direction to make them elite. Sticking with Smackdown, the brand had Rhyno and Heath Slater, who at one point had a pretty good run…but that’s it!

The Tag Team titles are supposed to be dubbed on the elite teams of the division, and quite frankly the creative direction for the champions of their respective brands have looked either weak or boring.

What are your thoughts on the Hardy’s potentially coming to WWE? Do you think it’s a good or a bad idea? Which brand would you like to see them hop on? Sound off in the comments below or comment to us on social media!
