Report: Davante Adams ‘could’ miss Week 2
Aaron Rodgers and his knee are grabbing all the headlines, but one key Green Bay injury is sliding under-the-radar.
Receiver Davante Adams has a shoulder injury, and it’s bad enough that he didn’t practice on Wednesday. Adams had five catches for 88 yards and an extra-effort touchdown in Sunday night’s stirring win over the Bears.
Adams told reporters in the locker room Wednesday he suffered the injury going to the ground at the end of his 51-yard catch against the Chicago Bears in the season opener. He’s also “feeling good” about his chances of playing against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
With injury reports coming out today and Friday, we will likely find out more news on the status of the injury–but against one of the best defenses (and secondaries) in the NFL, the Packers will need all their weapons in the field.
Stay tuned to MFST for all of your injury news leading up to Week 2.
