Review: Geoff Johns
Geoff Johns, born on January 25, is the President of DCEU and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State. After moving to Los Angeles, California he received an internship by Richard Donner (Director -Superman) after cold calling his office. Johns started off by copying scripts and physically running around everywhere to run errands, he later became production assistant to Donner.
Geoff Johns is half Lebanese ancestry. He is well-known for his character development in his writing. Johns writing is unique due to his ability in revamping characters from the past to the present.
He is an incredibly intelligent, optimistic, positive, and caring individual when it comes to life, writing, and comics. His thirst for knowledge and his observation in life continues to make him grow as a beautiful writer/individual.
He is also co-owns Earth-2 Comics.
Here are a few suggested books including the most current book from Geoff Johns DC Universe REBIRTH.
DC Universe: Rebirth Deluxe Edition
Johns wrote one of the major comics event of 2016, DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH. This book provides a a compass that points the other rebirth books in the right way. The book delivers in every way a fan could possibly love. The book is not a reboot but a reunion for characters that we loved. When I was asked how i felt about the book.
My response was “Beautiful, it is beautiful.”
What I felt was lost and missing from the New 52, was back. What I hated from the New 52 was gone. The change thrilled me and made me hopeful for the future of DC Comics.
Completely fascinating that 1 book changed and guided us as fans into the future.
How could we forget him? Him being Wally West.
Batman: Earth One Vol. 1 & 2
I hope to continue to see his career blossom and appreciate what he has done for the comics industry.
