Robby Anderson arrested in Florida on very serious charges
Anderson is charged with resisting an officer, harming a public servant/family, eluding a law enforcement officer with sirens on, reckless driving and several other driving violations that include speeding and running a red light. No other details of the arrest are available at present.
Anderson was arrested last year and charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of justice after an incident at a concert. That case has not been resolved.
Anderson had a breakout season in 2017, leading the Jets in receiving. He caught 63 passes for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.
Update: Anderson was driving 105 MPH in a 45 MPH zone and when he was pulled over he told the officer…”He was going to find my wife, f*ck her and nut in her eye.”
The officer says Anderson was driving like a maniac — “all over the roadway and failed to maintain a single lane.”
When the cop eventually got Anderson to pull over, Robby refused to cooperate — saying he wanted to speak with his lawyer right away and physically resisted when the cops tried to put him in the squad car.
“He continued to make other verbal threats towards my family. Based on his statements it was clear that he intended to sexually assault wife.”
“He also began to braga bout how much money he has and how all I was doing was trying to do is ‘ruin his fun.'”
Anderson is facing 9 total charges including resisting arrest, reckless driving, speeding and something called, “harm public servant or family.”
