Gortat had a monster week averaging 21.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 1.67 blocks as he led the Wizards to a 3-0 record. Gortat posted two double-doubles, one against the Sacramento Kings where he had 27 points and 16 rebounds. And one against the Memphis Grizzlies where he had 12 points, 12 rebounds. After being rewarded the award, Gortat received about 20 missed calls and messages, and later tweeted about the incident, mistakenly believing he got traded:

Westbrook helped the Thunder to a 3-1 record for the week while posting averages of 28 points, 8.8 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 3 steals. He also scored at least 30 points in 2 games during that span, as well as scoring at least 23 points in each of the four contests. Westbrook also falling just a rebound short against Denver, when he posted 30 points, 12 assists and 9 rebounds. Westbrook has been a stat-sheet stuffer for the Thunder and continued that notion this week posting stellar numbers across the board.

Both Gortat and Westbrook put in stellar performances over the week and were able to lead their teams to 3 wins in that span. Gortat and the Wizards look to continue on their trend now winning four in a row, getting back to a .500 record at 14-14. As for Westbrook, he looks like the most athletic and dynamic guard as he is considered by many the best guard behind only Stephen Curry help leading the Thunder along with Kevin Durant to a 21-10 start.
