Rutgers fires Eddie Jordan
Jordan is a Rutgers alum and a former head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers and Washington Wizards, but could not turn the program around after the dismissal of former coach Mike Rice.
Jordan owned a 29-67 record in three seasons in Piscataway, including a 7-25 finish this year where Rutgers went 1-17 in the Big Ten. Rutgers was 3-35 against Big Ten foes in two years in the Big Ten.
The firing came while Jordan had two years remaining on his current contract. The next head coach of the Scarlet Knights will have an uphill battle to not only win but recruit within the Big Ten, something Rutgers has not shown to do since the moved from the Big East to the Big Ten in 2014.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/rutgers-fires-eddie-jordan/https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/a-34.jpg?fit=366%2C400&ssl=1https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/a-34.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Big TenNCAABRecent Posts#NCAAB,Eddie Jordan, rutgers,Rutgers Scarlet KnightsEddie Jordan has been fired as the head coach at Rutgers.
