The Washington Redskins had one heck of a Sunday, coming back from 17 points down to beat the Buccaneers 31-30. They did so without their best defensive player on the field. Ryan Kerrigan missed most of the game after breaking a small bone in his hand and is slated to go under the knife today per Ian Rapoport.

With the Redskins off until November 8th, it is possible that Kerrigan will not miss any game action. If true, Washington’s defense will need him as they face Tom Brady and the undefeated Patriots after their bye. Kirk Cousins can only carry the team so far.
