hit the floor

After being revived by BET for their 4th season, Hit The Floor is finally going back into the writers room tomorrow and it will be all females. This is exciting news since most shows have a majority of men writing them. Show creator James LaRosa posted on Twitter today saying, “Hit the Floor S4 writers room starts tomorrow and I am pumpedddd omgggggggg.” He later tweeted again adding, “Stoked to say the entire writing staff for #HitTheFloor S4 will be female. They came, they saw, they slayed.”

The last we saw of Hit The Floor was in September when VH1 aired a summer special showing the wedding of Ahsha and Derek. It seems that VH1 wasn’t interested in doing any more with the series and had given up on it but a few weeks ago BET came to the rescue and revived it. No word yet when season 4 will air but it will be sometime in 2018. Stay tuned!
