SPOILERS! Silk #6 Review

Silk #6 review

The first arc for Silk has concluded and it ended with much to be desired. The whole battle with the Goblin King only lasted two pages and felt very rushed and anticlimactic. Even other parts of this issue were very fast. Like when Black Cat tells Cindy that there are no roads in life and that you can go from being a hero one day and the next you’re a villain. It’s not really brought up again and it doesn’t tie into the theme of the issue so mentioning it at all was pointless. However, I feel like this will come into play later. As the issue ends it is hinted that she might turn to the dark side, but that remains to be seen.

The art I’m afraid doesn’t quite capture the emotions it’s trying to display and the faces look awkward when shown. disappointing issue but I’m looking forward to the Spider-Women crossover next issue.
