Not many get lucky while cleaning out their homes, but for one Tennessee man his need for cleanliness resulted in millions, literally. Tennessee Man

Recently, a man found a veritable treasure trove of unopened baseball cards in his 90-year-old aunt’s attic in Tennessee.

The journey into the attic unearthed hundreds of unopened boxes and packs of baseball cards including 19 of the 24 packs of a 1948 Bowman box. Due to World War II, the 1948 Bowman series was the first since 1941 and includes the rookie cards of Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, Ralph Kiner, Warren Spahn and others. The Bowman packs on their own could be worth close to $500,000 while the rest of the collection could bring the total value close to a cool $1 million.

With this in mind, next time you find yourself at an elderly relative’s house, find a way, despite your fears, to take a look around in the attic. It may be the best investment you ever make.
