The Crow Reborn Reboot Fans Do Not Want To See
There have been many articles written lately about The Crow re-boot. Many of the original die-hard fans do not want it made. Including two of the original cast and the original director.
It’s been reported the new version will follow more closely to James O’Barr’s The Crow graphic novel.
Most fans are livid because they do not want to see a new Eric Driven. As many already know Brandon Lee was shot and killed by a prop gun on the set of The Crow.
But Brandon wasn’t the only tragedy to happen. Michael Massee who played Funboy in the movie also suffered greatly. Many recalls he was the unfortunate actor who fired the fatal shot.
Michael unfortunately was always reminded of the incident. Massee revealed that he still had nightmares about it, going on to say, “I don’t think you ever get over something like that.”
I can’t possibly imagine the pain he carried around with him. Even though he was never at fault. Sadly Michael passed away from stomach cancer in 2016.
So I am in no way bashing Jason Momoa for wanting to take on this role. I want to make that abundantly clear, but if you are a fan of the original movie please tweet @sony and @relativity on Twitter to allow your opinion to be heard. Please remain respectful. Maybe the fans may finally get their voice heard. Besides, I’m not a fan of remakes.
