  • Tuesday, October 10th Season 4 premiere of The Flash 8:00 pm-9:00 pm followed by the season 3 premiere of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow 9:00 pm-10:00 pm

  • Friday, October 13th Season 3 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend 8:00 pm-9:00 pm followed by the season 4 premiere of Jane The Virgin 9:00 pm-10:00 pm

The biggest changes to the lineup are Arrow which has had the Wednesday night slot and sophomore drama Riverdale which had the Thursday night slot. Riverdale has been the CW’s biggest hit of last season with The Flash also being one of the most watched. Jane The Virgin will also move from Monday night to Fridays as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend moves up an hour to take the spot left vacant by The Vampire Diaries.

There are only two new shows for the CW this season, the first being military drama Valor that stars Brian Stapf (Fear The Walking Dead), Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire), Matt Barr (Sleepy Hollow), and Heighlen Boyd (Into The Badlands). The second new show is the reboot of 1981 soap Dynasty that stars Elizabeth Gilles (Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll), Jordan Cox (Turn: Washington’s Spies), and James Mackay (Hacksaw Ridge).

Arrow‘s ratings have dropped as of late, so here’s to hoping the lead in from Supernatural will help boost them back up again. The CW will premiere new series DC’s Black Lightning and Lucy Hale’s Life Sentence at midseason. The 100, The Originals, and iZombie will return at later dates. This looks to be a good season for TV!
