The Atlanta Hawks are clicking at a perfect time. They have just clinched their ninth consecutive playoff berth. As of now, they are third in the East. If they continue at the pace they are at right now, they will keep that third spot. The Hawks cannot afford to lose too many games in this final stretch of the regular season. The Celtics, Heat, and Hornets are right behind them, seeking to get that third spot. With seven games remaining, the Hawks face the Raptors and Cavaliers twice, as well as a good Celtics team. They end the season facing the Wizards.

Before the all-star break, the Hawks seemed to have a couple of chemistry problems. With the trade deadline approaching, they probably had that on their mind. After the deadline, they seemed to regroup and focus on team chemistry and basketball. The Hawks also brought in what looks to be a key piece to their offense in Kris Humphries. With Tiago Splitter out for the season, the Hawks needed another big man, and Humphries is doing the job very well. The Hawks are looking forward to the playoffs, and they hope to make it to the Conference Finals again with different results.
