The New Deadpool 2 Trailer is all butt funny
Over the weekend, a promo for Deadpool 2 was officially released online. The clip gives no release date, only stating that it is “Coming…Not Soon Enough”. Nor does the trailer give any indication of the plot. Instead, they focus on keeping Deadpool at the forefront of everyone’s minds. Using Ryan Reynolds trademark wit, they thoroughly succeed. The 3 minute and 30 second spot sees Deadpool witness a robbery in an alley and dash off to the nearest phone booth to change. Dark humor ensues.
While there is no action in the teaser, I’m very excited to see what David Leitch will do with this film. Known most recently for directing John Wick (2014) alongside Chad Stahelski, Leitch has worked as stunt coordinator on movies such as, V for Vendetta (2005) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), and stunt fight coordinator on Bangkok Dangerous (2008). In addition he’s served as the second unit director on films; Captain America: Civil War (2016), The Wolverine (2013), In Time (2011), and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013), in addition to many others. He’s been in the industry since the mid 90’s and worked with some very talented people. You should be very excited.
Watch the promo below. How do you think David Leitch will do? What did you think of the Deadpool 2 trailer? Leave a comment and let us know!
