The official trailer for Alison Eastwood’s film Battlecreek is here
The film Battlecreek released its trailer today starring Bill Skarsgård as Henry, who is a bit of a loner due to having a skin disease that prevents him from being out in the sunlight. His mother, Talluah (Paula Malcomson) has kept him sheltered his entire life because of it and he can only go out at night. When new girl Alison (Claire van der Boom) comes to town, they become close. In the trailer we see that Alison has a past that comes back to haunt her, causing her to run away, leaving Henry heartbroken. Alison does return and the two embark on an adventure.
The film is directed and produced by Alison Eastwood who seems to be taking after her father Clint Eastwood and is now working behind the camera. Alison has acted in several films before but is new to directing and producing. You may remember Bill Skarsgård from the Netflix original show Hemlock Grove and who is currently filming the upcoming reboot of Stephen King’s classic movie It. He is the younger brother of Alexander Skarsgård who you may know from True Blood and Gustaf Skarsgård who currently stars in the History Channel hit show Vikings. The film premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival in 2016 but still no word on when it will be released.
