What will be remembered as one of the finest games in Barclay’s Premier League history, Liverpool notched a come-from-behind 5-4 win against lowered tabled Norwich City.

What started as an opening goal by Roberto Firmino for Liverpool quickly turned into a drought with a responding goal from Norwich City’s newest signing Steven Naismith and Norwich City then putting on a stunning team effort to convert a back heel goal to make it 2-1 at half time. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Co. were down as low as 3-1 in the second half. With 30 minutes to go, Norwich converted a penalty to kick, and by then Liverpool seemed out of the mix.

What started afterward was a five goal shootout that was beyond the belief of the Norwich City home crowd. It was also bitter disappointment for the home crowd. Captain Jordan Henderson began the action with a great conversion to make it 3-2. Without hesitation he forewent his celebration and grabbed the ball and went to the middle of the pitch to begin again. Soon after, previous goalscorer Roberto Firmino equalized for 3-3 and followed his captain’s example bringing the ball back to the center of the pitch. What seemed to be the nail in the coffin was Liverpool’s James Milner, converting a brilliant shot to make it 4-3 going into a five-minute stoppage time thriller.

Heading into stoppage time, the referee added five minutes to the clock. Norwich only needed two to give themselves the equalizer and send the home crowd into a frenzy. With less than a minute to go, Liverpool went on an all out attack that led to a stunning kick by Liverpool’s Adam Lallana that gave Liverpool the win. The celebration was massive from the Liverpool side, as a celebrating, shirtless, Adam Lallana embraced his coach Jurgen Klopp with the entire team in celebration of their triumph.

It will be one of the most remembered games of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool career.
