The Tennessee Titans made a move on Monday that makes their draft a little easier. They acquired DeMarco Murray from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Murray led the NFL in rushing two years ago with the Dallas Cowboys. DeMarco then decided to sign with the Cowboys division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. The deal was for 5-years and $42 million. The reason DeMarco gave for making the move was that he thought his chances of winning a Super Bowl were greater in Philadelphia. Well fast-forward one year and DeMarco must have had a change of heart. His new team, the Tennessee Titans, are far from being Super Bowl contenders.

The Titans acquired Marcus Mariota with the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. After a 3-13 season, they now have the 1st overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Consensus is they will draft offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil from Ole Miss.

The future is definitely looking brighter for Tennessee. Mariota appears to be a star. We know Murray is, he was just in a horrible situation last season in Philadelphia. Now, you have the number one pick in the draft, where you are most likely going to get a stud offensive lineman to help both of them.

The Titans new GM Jon Robinson has been on the job 54 days and already made a huge splash that could turn around the fortunes of the franchise. Regardless of what the future actually holds, Robinson’s job approval rating is sitting at 100%.
