Tony Stewart to Retire after 2016 NASCAR Season
One of NASCAR’s most beloved drivers has made a momentous announcement. After 2016, Tony Stewart has decided he will no longer be a competitor in the sport of racing.
The three-time Sprint Cup Champion plans to retire after just one more season.
The past couple years have been tumultuous for Stewart, and after 582 career Cup starts he’s made a conclusive decision. A storied career will come to a gentle close, as he’s ready to move on to the next chapter of his life.
Tony Stewart will be missed by many, but all wish him the best during the next stage of his career. One of Landin’s fondest memories was his youth baseball team narrowly missing out on the opportunity to play in the Little League World Series Final. Unfortunately, during high school Landin was forced to forget his originally preferred sports as a freak basketball injury nearly ended his life. All prospects for Division I sports scholarships evaporated. Despite this set back, Landin focused his energies in new modes, becoming an All-State musician, avid sports journalist and by "Bodybuilding" to stimulate and heal his body. In an effort to assist others, Landin is currently pursuing Pre-Medical, Dosimetry and Sports Medicine degrees.MyFantasySportsTalk
