Only a few more months until the NFL season is set to begin and the cap numbers have become official after June 1st. So here is the list of the highest paid quarterbacks heading into training camp. Some names on the list may be surprising including Chiefs signal caller Alex Smith, but the names that are absent are more intriguing, like Cowboys QB Tony Romo and Ravens Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco. Within a year or two, the contracts these guys signed will catapult them into the top ten, and younger stars like the newly signed Cam Newton, and future deals for Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck will put their names on this list as well.
