Let’s go over the top stories now that we’ve reached the quarter mark of the Premier League season.

1. Manchester United best Spurs 1-0

Anthony Martial has a knack for late goals with United this season. The young Frenchman came through once again to put the Red Devils back on the winning track. For the Spurs, using a 5-3-2 system, they were matched minute for minute. Only Dele Alli gave the team a chance for a goal but missed from point-blank range. Manchester United remain second while Tottenham sit third.

2. Chelsea grind out 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth

Eden Hazard put the game away in the 51st minute to give Chelsea a win and into fourth in the table. AFC Bournemouth remain in 19th position with the loss. The game saw no cards issued to Chelsea, leaving for the team to play a clean game throughout.

3. Manchester City and West Brom battle in a 3-2 thriller

This was one of the more uncomfortable games for Manchester City this year. Despite Leroy Sane scoring in the 10th minute for City, West Brom scored three minutes later. Fernandinho for City scored two minutes later. City turned the game into 3-1 in the 64th minute, but Matt Phillips of West Brom put in a stoppage time goal to make it 3-2. Despite being unable to secure a third goal, West Brom gave City a headache.

4. Liverpool defeats Huddersfield Town 3-0

All of Liverpool’s goals came in the second half. Daniel Sturridge started things off in the 50th, with Roberto Firmino scoring in the 58th, and Georginio Wijnaldum in the 75th. Liverpool now sit 6th in the table while Huddersfield sit in 13th.

5. Arsenal beat Swansea City 2-1

Swansea City’s Sam Clucas kicked off the scoring in the 22nd minute. Arsenal defender Sead Kolsnieac equalized in the 51st minute with Aaron Ramsey scoring in the 58th to give Arsenal the 2-1 lead to win the game. Arsenal currently sit 5th while Swansea sit in 17th.
