Twenty-four games in, and a whole lot of action this weekend’s fixtures. Let’s go over the top stories from the Premier League this matchweek.

1. Augero puts on hat trick performance in City win

City missed out on Alexis Sanchez, but their veteran striker Sergio Augero netted a hat trick to keep City well clear of their noisy neighbors at the top of the table. The defeated Newcastle United still sit in 15th.

2. Hazard brace helps Chelsea to 4-0 win

Hazard began his brace in the third minute with Willian following in the sixth. The goals didn’t come till late in the second half when Hazard scored in the 77th minute and Victor Moses completed the game with a goal in the 89th. Chelsea rise to third in the table, while their opponents Brighton and Hove Albion sit in 16th.

3. Arsenal score four post-Sanchez transfer

With the Alexis Sanchez drama behind them, Arsenal got back on the winning track with a 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace. All of Arsneal’s goals were scored in the first half, finished off in the 22nd minute by striker Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal sit in sixth spot while Crystal Palace drop to 13th.

4. Liverpool stunned by Swansea 1-0

Just after beating formerly invincible Manchester City, Liverpool were left scratching their heads after Swansea stunned them with a 1-0 victory through Alfie Mawson’s goal in the 40th minute. Liverpool drop to fourth while Swansea remain bottom of the table.

5. Man United beat Burnley 1-0

United got their revenge for their 2-2 blundered draw against Burnley only weeks ago. Anthony Martial scored a stunner off the crossbar and into the net in the 54th minute. The Red Devils remain in second while Burnley drop to eighth.
