UB Bulls grab hometown 3-Star commit Jake Fuzak
The UB Bulls have picked up a solid three-star recruit in Jake Fuzak, who will stay close to home to further his football career. Fuzak, a 6’4 265 pound defensive lineman from local high school Williamsville South will step foot on campus in 2016 as the Bulls look to climb up the MAC ranks.
Fuzak had offers from the Bulls and UConn, but was also being looked at by power conference schools like UCLA and Boston College. New UB head coach Lance Leipold, who came from Division III power University Wisconsin-Whitewater (where he won six championships), is showing an acute ability to recruit and do so locally. Fuzak will be a solid addition to the Bulls roster as Leipold makes a name for himself in FBS college football.
Hustle Belt was able to talk to the Bulls newest recruit, and this is what he had to say about his commitment to UB…..
“I decided to commit [to Buffalo] because there’s a sense of pride playing for a community that’s supported you and raised you. Also the coaches are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met and it will be a pleasure to play for them.”
Watching Fuzak’s highlights, he has the potential to be a force on the defensive front and can wreak havoc in the backfield for future opponents. Check out some of his highlights below…
