Uncanny Inhumans #11 Review
Uncanny Inhumans is the latest book to tie-in with Civil War II. It takes place after Civil War II #2 after Tony Stark kidnapped the future predicting Inhuman Ulysses. The Inhumans tried to attack Tony at Stark tower, but the other heroes told them to stay out of it and the Inhumans agreed. But that doesn’t mean there going to take this lying down.
Medusa wants to hurt Stark, but doesn’t want to drag his employees into it or the public would lose their trust in them so they decide to do it quietly. They blow up his penthouses, vacation homes, garages and even leaked his private emails to the public. But Triton of all people isn’t satisfied with just ruining his houses. He wants to hit him back ten times harder and goes to Maximus the Mad for help (one of their archenemies and Black Bolts brother).
Lets start off with a negative first. I question why Triton would go to Maximus since he is one of their most famous adversaries and he knows that Maximus is a master manipulator, can’t be trusted and has turned on the Inhumans several times. Even after he won their trust he betrayed Black Bolt the last time we saw him in a Inhumans comic. Triton even said that Maximus takes things too far and I’m just going to predict now that this alliance will end in a disaster, like everything Maximus does.
However, I do appreciate that Triton is getting the spotlight since he hasn’t had much time to shine in the current Inhuman series. So even if I dislike what he’s doing, I do like that they gave him some long overdue attention. I also like how Medusa won’t go to the extreme like ruining other people’s lives and just wants to hurt Stark instead of innocent people who work for him. It makes her a little more three-dimensional and doesn’t betray her character.
As for the art. It’s bright and colorful, but doesn’t have much uniqueness or its own style. It’s not bad, but just A little generic.
To summarize there is some good characterization even if I do question the logic of it.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/uncanny-inhumans-11-review/https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/portrait_incredible.jpg?fit=216%2C324&ssl=1https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/portrait_incredible.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1ComicsEntertainmentRecent Postsuncanny inhumans, uncanny inhumans 11SPOILER ALERT!
