Missouri came out on fire controlling the pace of play and not letting the Musketeers gain an edge on the glass, where they have an obvious advantage. If they want to see their success carry over into the second half, they will need to shoot better from 3-point range. In the first half they were 23% on 3 of 13 shooting, and top 3-point shooter Frankie Hughes is only 1 of 8 from long-range.

The winner of this contest will advance to take on Clemson who dominated Davidson earlier to advance into the semis.
