Upset Watch: NFL Week 13
Upset Watch: NFL Week 13
Week 13 is here in the NFL and playoff time is getting real close. Some teams need big wins to stay in the playoff race while others are trying to pull away with their division. Here are some games I think are on upset alert!
Dallas @ Minnesota
As great as the Cowboys have been playing, I just feel like the Vikings can win this game on Thursday night. The Vikings honestly needs this game, so they can stay in the playoff race. They are 6-5 and one game behind the Lions as division leaders. Green Bay is right behind them at 5-6, so the Vikings need to lean on their defense to win this game.
Prediction: Vikings 27 Cowboys 23
Kansas City @ Atlanta
Some people may not think this is an upset, but some may think it is. Both teams need this game as they are still in a fight for their divisions. Can Kansas City’s hard-mouth defense stop the Falcons high-flying offense? I don’t think they will, but I see a great game here in the Georgia Dome.
Prediction: Falcons 31 Chiefs 23
Detroit @ New Orleans
Some people may not think this as an upset because of where this game is being played. Drew Brees and his offense are soaring and they are playing the Lions at home. The Lions sit in 1st place in the NFC North at 7-4, but they will be in a shootout come Sunday. The Saints defense won’t stop Stafford much, but Brees and the offense will find a way to win.
Prediction: Saints 38 Lions 34
Denver @ Jacksonville
I know what you’re thinking– the Jaguars upsetting the Broncos???? No way!! I’m telling you don’t sleep on Blake Bortles and the young Jacksonville defense. That Broncos loss to the Chiefs hurt them, and I feel like the Jaguars can catch them napping.
Prediction: Jaguars 24 Broncos 20
Miami @ Baltimore
Miami is hot right now, and I just like them over the Ravens. Tannehill is playing pretty good, and I think they can go into the Ravens house and win. The Dolphins need to get over that “mediocre” hump and prove they’re a playoff team. The defense gets pressure on Joe Flacco, and the Dolphins come out and make a statement.
Prediction: Dolphins 20 Ravens 10
Buffalo @ Oakland
As good as Carr and the Raiders have been playing, I like Buffalo to come in and upset them. The Raiders have been in some close games this year, and I think the Bills can lean on their defense. I also think the Raiders won’t have an answer for LeSean McCoy.
Prediction: Bills 24 Raiders 23
Tampa Bay @ San Diego
If San Diego was in another division, they could easily still be in the playoff race. Unfortunately, they’re in the AFC West and have lost some tough games this year. This is not a bad team, and I think Tampa Bay will find out this week.
Prediction: Tampa Bay 17 Chargers 27
