VH1’s ‘Hit The Floor’ is moving to BET
After many months of being in limbo, VH1’s Hit The Floor will indeed be getting a 4th season. The only thing is, it will be moving to the BET network. Season 3 was followed up with a one hour summer special last year and ever since then the fate of the show has been left up in the air. Creator James LaRosa never gave up hope and told fans he wasn’t done with it yet. It seems as if VH1 had given up on the show which is what the hold up was, but late last week fans were surprised with the news that it will continue.
The story follows Ahsha Hayes, who is trying to pursue a career as part of the Devils Girls dance team for the professional basketball team L.A. Devils, against her mothers wishes who was once a Devil Girl herself. The show has an awesome cast which includes Taylour Paige as Ahsha Hayes, Kimberly Elise as Sloan Hayes, Dean Cain as Pete Davenport, Logan Browning as Jelena Howard, McKinley Freeman as Derek Roman, Robert Christopher Riley as Terrance Wall, Adam Senn as Zero, Brent Antonello as Jude Kincade, Don Stark as Oscar Kincade, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe as Lionel Davenport, and Katherine Bailess as Kyle Hart.
If you like mystery, basketball, family drama, and awesome dance routines, then you need to catch up before the new season! This has become one of my favorite shows and I am so happy it has been saved by BET. James LaRosa is the show-runner that every show needs. He definitely knows what he’s doing. This is a show you don’t want to miss.
No word yet on when the new season will begin filming or when it will premiere but stay tuned for more details as they come.
