Week 10 Upset Alerts

Week 10 kicks off tonight with the Browns facing the Ravens on Thursday night football. I don’t think this specific game will be an upset, but I will pick the games I think will be upsets heading into Sunday.

I like the Panthers in this game for my first upset of week 10. The Panthers got off to a rough start in their season, but have won their last two games against the Chiefs. I feel like this team is slowly getting their rhythm back and could make a run at the playoffs. Their next 4 games are definitely going to test them (vs. Chiefs, vs. Saints, @ Raiders, and @ Seahawks.) Will Cam Newton return back to MVP form? Remember, this team was in the Super Bowl last year and I still think they have a tough defense. The Chiefs are a tough team, and I think this will be a tough match up between two tough defenses. I see a low scoring hard-fought out battle with the Panthers upsetting the Chiefs.

Prediction: Panthers 20 Chiefs 17
Broncos at Saints

Will Brees pass all over the Broncos D on Sunday?

This is a tricky game right here because some will probably not consider this an upset. The Saints are rolling, they’re at home, and oh yeah Drew Brees is their quarterback. The Saints had some tough losses at the beginning of the season, but now they’re 4-4 with some swagger back. This team is still in the mix of things and are 2nd in their division behind the Atlanta Falcons. Their offense is currently ranked 1st in the league while Drew Brees is having another career year. A win would put them above .500 for the first time this season. The Broncos started off the season great, but came back to life in the recent weeks. I still believe in their defense, but I just don’t think they can win their tough division. I like the Saints at home to win.

Prediction: Saints 31 Broncos 27
Packers at Titans

I know that Aaron Rodgers is a great QB but football is not a one man sport. This is not the Packers team I’m used to seeing. They’re 4-4 and not in control of their division. They don’t have a consistent run game and the defense gives up a lot of points. If they drop this game, they’re in trouble for the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers is probably telling them to R-E-L-A-X, but if they lose their 3rd straight it’s P-A-N-I-C time. The Titans are 4-5 and a very tricky team. They play good one week and the next week I don’t recognize them. They’re 3rd in their division and still have a chance to win it. Will Mariota step up and lead his team to a victory? I think they can pull off an upset this week. They have a stellar offense and need to stop Aaron Rodgers from picking them apart.

Prediction: Titans 27 Packers 24
