Week 13 waiver wire adds
Week 13 Waiver Wire
Your fantasy season trade dead-line might be over, but the waiver wire still remains a gold mine to help you if you’re pushing for a playoff spot late in the season. There’s been plenty of busts this year with big name players he flew off the board in the early rounds, and if you’re suffering like me from some of those draft picks I’m here to help your season out. None of these are in any particular order.
Taylor Gabriel (WR) Atlanta
With Sanu not living up to the expectations we’ve hoped for– let’s be real, Julio Jones is human at the end of the day. He was shut down by Patrick Peterson on Sunday, and because of this we saw Gabriel have a monster day both in reality and in fantasy. He’s now scored in four straight games, and has proven to be one of Matt Ryan’s top targets.
Malcolm Mitchell (WR) New England
Mitchell made the column a few weeks ago and this is why. He came up big in week 12 hauling in two touchdowns. Now while you can’t depend on him to get that volume all the time in an unpredictable Patriot’s offense he’s worth an add and poses a huge upside play.
Marquess Wilson (WR) Chicago
Just like we all expected Wilson was going to be the go to guy in this Bears struggling offense. I’m just playing nobody saw this. R.i.p to Meredith and Eddie Royal who most of us were expecting to come up and fill those shoes in with Jeffrey being out. Wilson had a big game on Sunday, and Barkley will likely continue to give him a healthy amount of targets going forward.
Tyreek Hill (WR) Kansas City
Who would’ve predicted this rookie to go into Denver with Talib back in the lineup for Denver, and still have a monster day. Although this won’t continue he’s the #1 guy in that offense with Maclin out, and will remain heavily involved even when Maclin returns.
Anquan Boldin (WR) Detroit
Boldin didn’t have a monster day on Thanksgiving, but in an offense in where Marvin Jones has disappeared, and Golden Tate being a boom or bust player, Boldin is a must add if you need a spot in the flex position.
Dontrelle Inman (WR) San Diego
Inman is another one of those guys who can have a quiet day, but then bounce back and put up wr 1 numbers. He’s still a must add going forward especially with Tyrell Williams injuring a right shoulder injury.
Sammy Watkins (WR) Buffalo
Now this is a long shot, but if somehow he’s still available in your league go and grab Watkins while you can. He looks to be healthy now, and well get a heavily workload starting this week as the Bills look to continue their winning streak.
Colin Kaepernick (QB) San Francisco
Kap has been here numerous times, but if you need a QB who’s going to put up big numbers Kaepernick is the man. He’s been playing well since being named the starter, and has shown no signs of slowing down, even with his team going nowhere. This weeks game against Chicago looks to be another big day for Kap.
Vernon Davis (TE) Washington
Whether you’re a Jordan Reed owner or not Davis is an interesting add. He’s already showed that he can still come through and make big plays in the Washington offense, and if Reed were to miss another week due to his shoulder injury Davis will get a heavy workload.
