Week 14 helped no one in the standings as our last place picker, Orlando Torres, was the only one over .500 with a 9-7 week. Brandon maintained his 7-game lead over Dan as they both brought in 7-9 weeks.
With three weeks to play, Brandon Reid is looking like he may bring in his first pick’em title.
Standings after Week 14
Brandon Reid: 132-74-2
Dan Schalk: 125-81-2
Orlando Torres: 121-85-2
Chargers vs Chiefs
Dan Schalk: Kansas City Chiefs. Arrowhead is a different animal–especially with a hobbled and iffy Melvin Gordon. Close game, but the Chiefs pull it out.
Brandon Reid: Kansas City Chiefs. I do think there is upset potential here as the division could be decided Thursday night. But Mahomes has proven he likes the bright lights on the big stage. That, plus I’ll take Andy Reid at home to out coach the Chargers young coach, Anthony Lynn. Should be a great game.
Orlando Torres: Los Angeles Chargers. Thursday night football gets another exciting game. However injuries are plaguing both teams. This comes down to defense in the end, and the Chargers are better in that category.
