Week 7 Daily Fantasy Football Value Picks
Definitely a better week for me in Week 6, with decent production from my picks with the exception of Charcandrick West. Once again, there are some juicy choices this week to keep our eyes on in daily fantasy.
As always, prices are from DraftKings.
QB: Carson Palmer $6700
He is by no means cheap but there is a lot to like from Palmer when comparing him to other options. He’s facing a Baltimore team that ranks dead last against opposing quarterbacks and is playing at home where Carson normally goes off. I’d much rather pay this price than pay over $8000 for Brady against the Jets defense, irregardless of how good Brady is.
Honorable Mentions: R. Tannehill $5700, R. Fitzpatrick $5200
RB: Todd Gurley $5000 STEAL OF THE WEEK
I’m done going cheap on marginal running backs, so now I’m looking to spend a little for guys who have a chance to finish at the top. Gurley is that guy this week, going for a crazy cheap price based on his value. Playing at home, off of a bye, and against a Cleveland defense that can’t stop the run, Gurley should explode this week. He does little to add points in the PPR aspect of DraftKings scoring but I don’t care. Gurley could have a multi-touchdown day.
Honorable Mentions: D. Woodhead $4600, L. Miller $4600
WR: Martavis Bryant $4700
In his first game of the season, Bryant exploded for over 30 points last week in DraftKings scoring. He could easily backfire, but winning in daily often hinges on guys who have explosion potential. There is no better boom or bust receiver in the league than Bryant, who could win you a lot of money against a Chiefs defense that ranks last against wide receivers.
Honorable Mentions: W. Snead $4600, S. Diggs $4200
TE: Antonio Gates $5000
Not necessarily cheap, Gates has proven in two weeks that he is Philip Rivers’ favorite target when it counts the most. Plus, he’s playing the Raiders this week. Believe it or not but the Raiders are still ranked last against opposing tight ends even with Owen Daniels posting a goose egg against them (curse you Daniels!). Gates will feast this weekend.
Honorable Mentions: T. Kelce $4900, D. Walker $3900
DST: Carolina Panthers $3100
Again, not the cheapest, but this is a unit that has big game potential. Between Ted Ginn Jr. returning kicks and a secondary who can pull off a pick six at the drop of a hat, the Panthers could put up a ton of points. This, combined with the fact that the Eagles are no strangers to turning the ball over, could help you win most contests in daily.
Honorable Mentions: Minnesota Vikings $3000, Pittsburgh Steelers $2600
