After taking a week off, we jump right back in to winning some money in daily fantasy football. Last week was crazy in the daily fantasy world, with buckets of points being scored primarily by two teams in the Giants and Saints game. Both Brees and Manning were relatively cheap grabs last week and won people some serious cash in tournaments. That’s what we’re looking for.

Again, prices come from DraftKings.

QB: Ben Roethlisberger – $6600

It’s not entirely clear if Big Ben is still hurt, but I’ll lean on the side of him being healthy. Losing Le’Veon Bell for the year will undoubtedly hurt the Steelers as a team, but I could see it providing a boost to Ben’s fantasy production. Ben always seems to have at least one monster game a year and, against a poor Oakland defense, I expect that game to happen here. Plus, Oakland has a good matchup themselves and shouldn’t struggle for points. Watch out for a shootout in Pittsburgh.

Honorable Mentions: D. Carr ($5500), P. Manning ($6500)

RB: Chris Ivory – $5900 STEAL OF THE WEEK

There’s no doubt, Ivory hasn’t been getting it done lately, but this development provides daily fantasy players with an opportunity to capitalize on his low cost. This week, he gets a weak Jaguars run defense that ranks 28th against opposing RBs. This, paired with the fact that there is serious doubt surrounding the health of whoever starts at QB for the Jets, provides Ivory with a chance to return to form with a huge game based on workload.

Honorable Mentions: R. Hillman ($4600), J. Stewart ($4300)

WR: Michael Crabtree – $4900

I had a hard time deciding between Crabtree and Stevie Johnson this week, because Johnson’s cost-to-volume value is insane. That being said, I see his ownership being very high, which doesn’t help differentiate your lineup from those you are competing against. Crabtree is still targeted more than Cooper in this Raiders offense, and he has plenty of haters who will stay away just because of his name. If the game in Pittsburgh is a shootout like I expect, I could see Crabtree being one of the main beneficiaries.

Honorable Mentions: P. Garçon ($5000), S. Johnson ($3200)

TE: Delanie Walker – $4200

For whatever reason, this guy gets no respect. Since week 3, Walker has had no less than 6 targets a game, reaching 9 once and 10 twice during that span. Against a Saints defense ranked 27th against tight ends, expect Walker to be in the double-digit target range. With that many targets, it would be very hard for him not to return value at his cost.

Honorable Mentions: B. Watson ($4000), J. Reed ($4500)

DST: Broncos -$3000

Not a typo. This is honestly shocking to me that the best defense in football is ranked 8th this week. There are so many things going in their favor for this game. They get an anemic Colts offense who is turning the ball over a ton and, although they are on the road, the team will play up for Peyton’s homecoming. At this cost, the Broncos should at least return value. Expect much more than this though and lock them in to all lineups.

Honorable Mentions: Vikings ($3100), Jets ($3100)
