Where can Tony Romo succeed?
Tony Romo is expected to be released by the Dallas Cowboys, but where will his next destination be? Think about this, the 39-year-old Tom Brady vs 37-year-old Tony Romo two times a year?? Have you guessed the team yet? I say the Buffalo Bills are the perfect team for Tony Romo to land next season. I think he can turn them into a playoff contender with them already being on the verge of it the past two seasons.
They have a Pro Bowl running back in LeSean McCoy, good young players on defense (Ragland, Hughes, Gilmore, Lawson, Dareus, etc.) They also have some speed and playmaking receivers, (Watkins, Woods, Clay.) This team can really make some noise with Tony Romo as their quarterback.
People have been hard on him throughout the years, but Tony Romo is not a bad quarterback. He has made some critical mistakes in big games in his career, but the guy is tough and can win with great young talent around him. I just think the Cowboys have a young good quarterback now and they’re moving on to the future with Dak. Things are not over for Tony Romo though. I feel like a lot of pressure will be lifted off his shoulder not being apart of “America’s Favorite Team”. He is a 4x Pro Bowl who has thrown for 34,183 yds and 65.3 completion percentage throughout his career. Romo is better than a lot of starting QBs in the league right now and he didn’t start for his own team. There are several teams that’ll reach out for him but Buffalo might be the best place to succeed for the veteran.
