Why are there not more graphic comics?
Earlier this week I had thoughts and images that made me ask…why are so few comic books and movies not made for adults? Don’t get me wrong no matter how old we are, we need to re-visit our innocent youth. But how many times as adults have you had to sit through a movie for children?
Most of us use children as a means to watch cartoons and superhero movies so we do not look immature or crazy for watching such films. Whether these kids are our own or family members children or we are just babysitting someones kids. You’re sitting there thinking, man I wished they had more graphic/adult comic books or movies.
Admit it you have thought it a time or two. Don’ get me wrong rated G and PG-13 are fine, but sometimes adults would like something more catered to them. Granted the world has a lot of violence geared toward people, children and animals. Most are innocent in their own way. It should be filled with innocence.
But sometimes I’ve thought where are all the new superheroes at? Why aren’t there more original or underground sorts of comics. Don’t act like you haven’t wanted someone to do a more deeper darker look at Batman, Superman and villains. Story-lines more catered for adults where even superheroes have flaws. Although that may not happen due to copyright infringements.
Now I don’t condone violence of any kind directed at anyone or thing, but you have to admit it would be interesting to read or see. Of course just like alcohol, tobacco and drugs precautions would be needed so kids couldn’t obtain them but.
Thank you so much David Ayers for getting my brain to this logic. Hope I don’t make too many people angry at me, but I had to address the topic. Until next time hope your dreams come true and be kind to each other and each thing.
